We’ve been doing a lot of decals for Stainless Steel tumblers lately. Here are a couple. This is a personalized one for a gymnast.
Below is one Alisa did for herself on a white tumbler.
There is also a stack of decals waiting, ready to go on tumblers once they arrive for the Class 2018’s frundraiser to raise money for their Senior Trip in our workroom. Pics of the mess to come…
I think this has been our busiest Christmas yet. Thanks to everyone who let us make gifts for you to give. Here are some of the new items we made…
Finished 22 ornaments for football seniors and the cheerleaders just in time to deliver them to the football banquet last night.
Love the way they turned out.
Thank you to everyone who came to our open house Friday night. We appreciate the business. Remember us when you want custom gifts for weddings, new babies, holidays, birthdays or anniversaries. Any design we have can be adapted to whatever media you like, glass, canvas, wood, metal, etc…
Congratulations to Jana Schultz who was the winner of the Jingle All the Way shadow box door prize.
We will be having an open house on Friday, September 5, 2014 from 5 – 7 p.m. in the Okeene Hospital Conference room. Come see our new designs and place your Christmas orders early!
DesignsByAlisa has been on hiatus since we lost our server and the majority of our 6 years of design files. This morning while mom was at work and dad was doing whatever he does, I finally started working on redesigning several of the files as well as a couple new things for some orders we had.
To make these yard signs and car tags I had to redo my football and basketball design. They are blue vinyl on a white metal sign. The 3′ whippet is for a template as is the megaphone, they both were redrawn as well.
These coasters are a gift for a really good friend for her office at her new job. Hope she loves them as much as we do!
I’ve been playing with this design for a while, originally I wanted to do something else with it… it took a while to get the paw print close to where Okeene is, rotating moving Whippets around. My plan was to put this on my car around the time school starts…Mom’s already told me it will be on a vehicle by then 🙂
We also created a couple used oil magnets and signs . The last thing we did is etch some baking dishes and I’ve been asked about coloring etched glass so I tested it on a candle holder, by inking the glass pink once it was etched.
Working on a new order of tropical tumblers reminded me that I’ve never posted about them. I have a cousin who is a travel agent and gives these as gifts to clients.
John needed a wedding gift for a buddy of his, but I don’t have a vinyl cutter or vinyl at my new house yet. I do have access to a plasma table and metal, so I designed this, created the CNC file and sent it to the plasma table. It has a nice rustic look already so we just sprayed a couple coats of clear on it.
DesignsByAlisa had a really busy weekend.
We made several wedding presents. I forgot to take pictures of all of them, but we etched two baking dishes, and a candle holder like this one.
I spent several hours making the Meier design for a Christmas gift last years. We put it on a piece of glass, and when the family was putting it in the frame the glass cracked along one top edge. The person the gift was made for said he liked it that way – it gave it character, but then it later the glass broke completely. The family asked us to redo it, on acrylic this time. . . The frame is a really thick wood frame with a western look. I think it’s going to look really good when it’s done.
I also needed to make a glass block, but first I had to drill holes in a case of glass blocks.
Then we made this Zebra print glass block for a baby shower gift. We make a lot of glass blocks for baby gifts, personalizing a design to fit into the decor of the baby’s room.
